Monitor the Network Service

The Viewport provides a view into the health of your system through key performance indicators (KPIs).

Network service monitoring parameters, such as request/response transaction counters, are derived from descriptors. After you Create and Instantiate a Network Service, it can take a few minutes before you see traffic flowing.

Select a Network Service that you want to monitor from the HOME screen.

Click SERVICES > FULL LIST and click the approrpaite NS from the list.

Click the arrow to the left of the network service name to access more detailed network service functionality. See Monitor the Network Through the Viewport.

Metrics overview

The following metrics are derived from descriptors:

• Request/response transaction counters

• Enhanced Platform Awareness attributes for the guest operating system
