Connect to Launchpad

  1. In a browser, type the IP address or fully qualified domain name of the host or VM or containerSelf-contained execution environments that contain their own CPU, memory, I/O, and network resources – anything you can install on a server. Containers share the kernel of the host operating system, which makes them feel like a virtual machine without the added overhead of a guest operating system. that is running Launchpad, followed by port 8443.

    For example, type one of the following:

    https://<launchpad-ip>:8443
    https://hostname.domain.com:8443

    Note: If you are using OpenStack, obtain the IP address of your RIFT.ware instance from the OpenStack Horizon Dashboard's Compute > Instance menu.

    If you installed a RIFT.ware prebuilt image, the container IP address is typically the same as the virtual machine or server on which the container is installed. References in the RIFT.ware documentation to the "container IP" may be treated as the server or VM IP in this context.

  2. On the Launchpad login page, type username/password credentials admin / admin, and click Sign In.

The Launchpad UI has a 10-minute timeout interval. If your browser has been idle for 10 minutes or longer, you must sign in to the interface again.
